Kyoshiro no Towa no Sora has gorgeous animation but suffers from a weak plot.
Kyoshiro no Towa no Sora is what you get when you mix in elements of Kannazuki no Miko and Saikano. In fact some of the characters and plot elements were ripped right off from Kannazuki no Miko. Case in point Himiko and Kaon-chan’s side story.

The main plot however revolves around Shiratori Kuu and Kyoshiro Ayanokoji. Our gallant prince wanna-be Kyoshiro is on a quest to track down and eliminate all absolute angels –indestructible man made uhm weapons. He tracks down the last angel who turns out to be the timid, clueless and love-struck Kuu. The pacing of the story is quite sloow and were it not for the gorgeous animation, I’d have quit following the 12 episode series after episode 3. Unfortunately, there’s not much fansubs on the menu so I persevered.

Well, not really… they just ARE Chikane and Himeko. I don’t think it’s ripping off, more like recycling.
