I’m a sucker for martial arts animes. This promising new anime fansubbed by Ayako looks like it could be a new fave this season — this despite the fact that it shows far far too much skin. The panty shots also distract from the fight scenes. IMHO this anime could have stood on its own without the excessive fanservice, but ah well on with the show 
In episode 3 of Ikkitousen, we finally get a glimpse into Ryuubi Gentoku’s true power. After seeing her friend get battered by Ryomou Shimei (miss eye-patch girl), Ryuubi does a jeckyll and hyde, powers up, loses her clothes and repels Ryomou’s attacks with relative ease. But when Ryomou runs away from the fight, Ryuubi goes berserk and starts turning on her own comrades.
The basic plot seems to be that the great warriors (or toushis) from the past have been reincarnated into the bodies of students. The plot is similar to that of Tenjou Tenge with rival schools battling it out with each other. The fanservice meter has been amped up way high in these series though and we get to see clothes being ripped as well as panty shots in every fight scene which gets old really fast :p
But the animation is viewteeful and since there seems to be a dearth of new animes to watch, I’m going to stick with the series for a while. Besides, I have a known weakness for fighting animes
